CSV Importing

My bank's PDF exports for a medium volume month are ~4MB. Limiting the PDF upload size to 3MB seems fairly restrictive, and would be infeasible for a higher volume month.

Currently, if the Amount field is formatted in Google Sheets (i.e. "– $ 187.44"), Lunch Money fails to read the amount correctly. It would be great if Lunch Money automatically ignored the dollar sign and recognized debits and credits correctly. This also fails if the amount field includes currency symbols. Also, add support for the leading dash / en dash (−100,00), as it currently only supports the hyphen-minus sign (-100,00). See screenshots.

Steps to reproduce: base currency CHF create a Chase credit card account with a balance in USD export a CSV file from a Chase credit card import CSV to Chase account and process rows. Map the amount column to the Amount field. Expected behavior: amounts in the mapped amount field are displayed as and imported as USD. Actual behavior: amounts in the mapped amount field are displayed as and imported as CHF.

During CSV/PDF import, automatic category mapping currently relies on exact string matching, which leads to failed matches when category names differ slightly (e.g., due to leading or trailing emojis). Category matching should be more flexible by ignoring leading and trailing emojis. Example: "🥑 Groceries" vs. "Groceries"

At the moment, it isn’t possible to change individual transaction data (i.e. category) during the CSV import process. It would be helpful to allow editing transaction data on the last stage ('Step 4: Review Transactions'), before inserting the transactions.

I've exported my historical account balanced from mint's trends view. It's a CSV with the columns: Account, Month, Balance. I'd love to be able to import these easily into the net-worth view

I would like for the .ofx and .qif formats to be supported within Lunch Money for manually transaction imports if possible.

I would like to be able to import category groups via CSV. Atm we can only import categories. This would help with importing from YNAB (i.e.( https://feedback.lunchmoney.app/general-feature-request/p/import-from-ynab ))

During CSV import, under 'Additional Settings', there is not information tooltip next to the "Set delimiter" field. It should explain what it means, for those who may not be familiar with CSV files: "The delimiter is the character that separates the values in each row. Most CSV files use a comma. If your file uses a different character, you can specify it here."

I had some transactions imported through CSV, then I wanted to import some older transactions with a PDF statement. I found that the PDF statement Payee field was populated as lowercase whilst the CSV was uppercase. I was hoping in the importing we can set uppercase or lowercase to Payee field or allow option while searching for duplicates to match with case insensitivity to avoid this issue.
