Some Fields are incorrectly identified in Bank of America PDF import

I just tried importing transactions from a Bank of America credit card statement older than a year, because they don't support CSV downloads after 12 months. Most of the data was correctly identified (date, merchant), but the last four digits of my account was incorrectly chosen to be the amount of every transaction. Is there any way to give the PDF import guidance similar to the field mapping in the CSV import to work around this problem?

Hi Matthew Passell, 👋
PDF files tend to be content heavy and the layouts can differ significantly from bank to bank. This means that some adjustments may be necessary to get them supported.
That said, if the issue was column mapping, but the amount is recognized in its own column, you can change the mapping on the very first step after you upload the file.
If the amounts didn't display on the mapping step at all however, please reach out by email to support@lunchmoney.app with the PDF attached and we'll be happy to take a closer look. :)

Hi Din from Lunch Money, unfortunately, it goes from the upload step straight to "Step 4: Review Transactions" and skips over the column mapping one. I'll think about whether I feel comfortable uploading the file.
Oh! I can click "back" from that page and make fixes. Never mind! I think I'm good. Just a heads-up that it wasn't very intuitive.
