It Would Be Nice if I could manually add the details of a transaction that has not yet been imported through Plaid, but in such a way that when it does come in through Plaid the manually-added transaction would be replaced by (or better yet merged with) the Plaid-imported transaction. The use case that's foremost on my mind is that I have made a hotel reservation for later this year, and given the hotel my payment details, but they aren't going to actually charge the card until the time of the planned stay. However, as far as my budget is concerned the money is spent, and I'd like my Lunch Money budget (which has a period of a whole year to ease comparison with my budget spreadsheet for past years) to reflect that, without risking double-counting it once the expense is posted and clears. A more frequent use case, however, would be the day-to-day transactions that happen, that I get notifications from PayPal or my credit card provider or my bank about within minutes, but that then don't appear in Lunch Money for several days (in the case of PayPal, usually not until the system realizes the Plaid connection to it is broken and asks me to reconnect it). I would like to be able to record the details in Lunch Money without having to wait for it to receive the transaction from Plaid, while still benefitting from the automatic import system.
