A webapp enables the browser to prompt for "install" in desktop and mobile, and creates a wrapper of the website with some extra capabilities like local storage, notifications, and other stuff.

As LM is web-first, enabling the webapp ability would be great, it can also go in the direction of OFFLINE usage or in other words the ability to see personal data and dashboard even without internet (previously a log in is required). Webapp can help in maintaining some cache/storage for offline consultation and even better offline transaction input which can then sync later
