V2: Don't rollover the amount I "overbudgeted" to the next month

When I deliberately budget for a deficit in a month, the amount that I planned to be overbudget should not rollover to the next month's budget (or, there should be an option in the budget settings to choose this).
For example, let's say for January I budgeted for $1,000 in income and $1,200 in expenses. In January, I actually received $1,000 in income, and spent $1,300. The current logic will rollover my
total deficit
of $300 to my February budget. However, given that I had deliberately elected to have a deficit of $200, I would much prefer only $100 rolling over to the February budget. Our use-case for this is that our income has been temporarily lowered for several months, and so we're spending down a small portion of our savings for that time period. However, even if we're exactly hitting our income and spending targets each month, our "rollover" is blowing up (since these values are cumulative).
As an alternative, at least let me manually set or adjust the overbudget rollover amount so I can deal with this manually each month. I know that we can reset the rollover to restart each month, but we do
want
the general rollover behavior (if we're targeting a $200 deficit, and we're regularly hitting a $300 deficit, for example, we do
want that to be rolling over).Log In
