"This budgeting period" filter doesn't work for past and future periods

On the Overview page, the "back" and "forward" arrows for the "This budgeting period" filter don't update the data on the page. The date range changes in the Period Picker and the URL, but the page continues to display the current budgeting period.

I think it doesn't work at all. Even if I attempt to reload the page with query string already there, the data is not loaded. So it's not only when changing back and forth but it does not load the data at all with this filter enabled.
